Come along to a beautiful day retreat that is nourishing for body, mind and soul. We run two types of retreats at SolarYoga:
YOGA THEMED RETREATS
Immerse yourself in a thoughtfully planned day of yoga, breathwork, meditation, delicious food, a deeply nurturing sound bath journey and revitalising wellness rituals including: infrared sauna, cold plunge and a blissful session on the Shakti acupressure mat.
Here’s an outline of a typical day retreat:
Morning yoga session
Begin with an energizing class that is vinyasa based and open to all levels. Experience an intentional flow that invites self-enquiry and cultivates presence.
Midday Ritual
Afterwards, enjoy a variety of relaxing and rejuvenating activities, including:
Infrared sauna – eases muscle tension, relieves stress, has anti-inflammatory, mood-lifting and metabolism-boosting benefits
Cold plunge – revitalise your senses with a refreshing dip; compliments the health-supporting qualities of the sauna
Shakti mat experience – cocoon yourself in blankets and enjoy the deeply relaxing sensation of an acupressure mat
Rest in the cozy snug and enjoy reading one of our many wellness books
Lunch
Enjoy the nourishing qualities and rich flavours of a Mediterranean-inspired winter menu.
Afternoon Session: restorative yoga
You can expect ~
• Deep rest through gentle, fully supported poses that calm the nervous system
• Release of tension in the body and mind without effort or strain
• Renewed energy as the session aims to cultivate a feeling of peace and inner stillness
Closing sound bath journey
Your day will conclude with an immersive sound bath led by Kirsten @circular.sounds. Blending crystal bowls, a planetary gong, Tibetan singing bowls and her enchanting voice, Kirsten creates a resonant soundscape that is profoundly nourishing for the nervous system. She artfully weaves sound into the theme of our day, offering a meditative experience that invites rest, release and integration.
TOTAL WELLNESS DAY RETREATS
In collaboration with Omayma Laing Acupuncturist. Our combined expertise in nutrition, yoga and acupuncture, alongside the signature elements of a SolarYoga day retreat — yoga, infrared sauna, cold plunge and a delicious Mediterranean-inspired lunch — this day is designed as a full immersion into health, balance and restoration.
Nutrition
The 1:1 nutrition consultation offers space to explore new health goals or build on what you’re already working towards. Your personalised nutrition plan will include practical, realistic nutrition and lifestyle recommendations that are easy to implement.
Acupuncture
During the retreat, you will have the choice between two acupuncture treatments:
A health-focused session, which may include a combination of needles, cupping and moxa to support your individual needs
Or a 3-step facial rejuvenation treatment, incorporating needles, slide cupping and Gua Sha — your skin will look visibly lifted, radiant and glowingWhat to expect:

ABOUT US
Omayma Laing, DipAc
Omayma is an experienced Classical Acupuncturist, a style which is known as a complete toolkit to treat all conditions. It addresses health issues at the level of the constitution, in other words, at their root. It is the most sophisticated practice that taps into both the physical and emotional body to bring a state of dynamic balance to the whole being.
Omayma treats acute and chronic pain, chronic degenerative diseases and psychological and emotional disorders. She is a dedicated and friendly practitioner.
